The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust

Bobby Van TrustThis service helps elderly, vulnerable and disadvantaged people who are considered to be at risk of, or have been victims of, house crime, hate crime or domestic violence by providing a home security service throughout Wiltshire.

Operators are skilled carpenter/lock fitters, Home Office trained Crime Reductions Officers or Fire Risk Assessors.

As well as securing the homes of burglary victims, they also provide free home security assessments as a preventative measure for people over the age of 60 who would not normally be classified as vulnerable or disadvantaged. There is a waiting list for these checks as they are slotted in between more typical high-priority cases. There is no charge but a donation can be made to the Trust.

To enquire about a security check on your home telephone 01225 794652.
