B4122 (Part), Kington Langley and Sutton Benger
18 – 26 January 2017 (weeknights only)
Between the hours of 20.00 and 06.00

Notice (TTRO 5108) is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:

B4122 (Part), Kington Langley and Sutton Benger; from its junction with M4 Junction 17 roundabout to its junction with B4069 Draycot Cerne.

To enable:

Wiltshire Council to undertake works for A350/M4 highways improvement scheme.

Alternative routes:

Local Traffic: Via B4069 – A420 – A350 and vice versa
Motorway Traffic: (B4069 / A420 – A350) – A4 – A3102 – Jct 16.

The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order which previously came into operation on 20-Nov-2017 will now recommence on 18 January 2018 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required on weeknights only between the hours of 20.00 and 06.00 until 26 January 2018. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.

The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.

Phase One – Northbound:

a) A350 (Part), Kington Langley; from its junction with Plough Crossroads to its junction with M4 Junction 17
b) M4 Roundabout Junction 17, Kington Langley / Stanton St. Quintin; from its junction with A350 to its junction with A429
c) A429 (Part), Stanton St. Quintin; from its junction with M4 Junction 17 to its junction with C72 Bouverie Park East.

Phase Two – Southbound:

d) M4 Roundabout Junction 17, Kington Langley / Stanton St. Quintin; from its junction with A429 to its junction with A350
e) A429 (Part), Stanton St. Quintin; from its junction with C72 Bouverie Park East to its junction with M4 Junction 17

To enable: Wilts Council to undertake works for A350/M4 highways improvement.

Phase One:
M4 westbound traffic: A350 (unaffected length) – A420 – A46 – M4 Jct 18.
M4 eastbound traffic: A350 (unaffected length) – A420 – A4 – A3102 – M4 Junction 16.
A429 / non – motorway traffic: A350 (unaffected length) – A420 – A4 – A3102 – B4042 – A429 (unaffected length).

Phase Two:
M4 westbound traffic: A429 (unaffected length) – B 4042 – A3102 – M4.
M4 eastbound: A429 (unaffected length) – B4042 – A3102 – A4 – A420 – A46 – M4 Jct 18.
Southbound / non – motorway traffic: B4042 – A3102 – A4 – A420 – A350 (unaffected length).
